This project on 6th Street near Chautauqua provided amazing views of nearby Flagstaff Mountain and backstage access to the park. Design of this light-filled and open home achieved something remarkable: the feeling of being outdoors while maintaining an extraordinary sense of privacy. Showcasing hand done shou sugi ban wood, a Japanese style of char finish- the exterior is a bold mix of stone, wood and steel creating a balance between tradition and modern styles.
